These wheels are surprisingly good for the price. Double walled, alloy rims that are sturdy. I put this on my hardtail and weigh 220lbs. Took them on my normal trails. They were strong enough when I put the power down and would take it on some small drops and jumps on the trail. Wheels stayed true as they did when I got them. I was also surprised by the engagement it has. Most wheels at this price point are 3 pawl hubs with low engagement. These have good engagement and had a great hub sound. Nothing like an I9, but certainly better than the Novatech hubs that have come on other wheels I've purchased.

So far I’ve felt faster and more planted with the wheels, they don’t wobble in turns like my last set and I feel like I’m in more control of where I’m telling my bike to go now. I absolutely love the sound of the rear hub, loud and crisp! The bearings in the wheels are phenomenal they seem like they will spin forever. Built with 32H Aluminum alloy rims, Aluminum 6061 hubs, stainless steel spokes, and brass nipples to optimize strength and still keep a light weight high performing wheel. Compatible with Shimano or sram 8-11 speed cassettes, or Box components which I run. Overall these have to be one of the best quick release axle wheel sets on the market and for the amazing price why not give them a try!

Tight and true on arrival!! Tight and true on arrival!!
Both wheels arrived undamaged, spokes all tight, and wheels perfectly true! It was quite fun swapping brake rotors and installing a new 7-speed Shimano cassette to replace my old 7-speed freewheel on the rear. No noises other than from the cassette which is a bit loud but the up-side is, if you stop pedaling as you come up behind others on the trails, they will hear you! Anyway, my bike hasn't felt this solid ever! The original wheels that came on my bike always felt kind of weak, wobbly and slightly out of round. Yesterday, I fitted new SERFAS Drifter tires to my NEW Corki 29" wheels and VOILA! I have a brand-new feeling bike that felt so good I didn't want to stop riding yesterday but did at 22 miles. I love these wheels!

My first ride on these was in December 2020. Since then I have put about 1200 miles on them. They are still as perfect as the first day out of the box. The bearings are super smooth. The wheels are seemingly still perfectly true; no "hop" or side-to-side wobble evident. They are noticeably stiffer than the Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels they replaced, and produce quicker acceleration.
They also ride lighter and climb better. The wheel rim is 23 mm, which is ideal for the 25 mm tires I use.
23 mm is also ideal for even larger tires that are becoming popular. I chose the 48 mm wheels; a good balance between aerodynamics, weight and strength.
